For your home

A house that finally does what you ask it to.

Cinema sound that does the film justice. Music wherever you want it and silence where you do not. Lights that already know it is evening. Wi-Fi that reaches the loft, the garden and the shed.

Sound and picture

The cinema room, and everything short of one.

Not everybody wants a room with tiered seating and a projector. Most people want the film to sound right in the room they already have, and the television to stop being a wrestling match with four remotes.

Proper cinema sound

Dolby Atmos done correctly, with the speakers positioned for your room rather than dropped in where the joists happened to fall. Calibrated once we have finished so it sounds right from the sofa, not from the tape measure.

Speakers you cannot see

In-ceiling and in-wall speakers that sit flush and paint in to match. Plaster-in options that vanish completely. Big sound without a single black box on show.

One remote, or none

Press "film" and the lights dim, the blinds come down and the right input appears. Or just ask out loud. No hunting for the remote that runs the soundbar.

Music

Music that follows you, room by room.

Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, garden. Each room at its own volume, playing its own thing if you want, or all of it together when people are over.

Kitchen

The room that gets used most. Ceiling speakers that stay out of the way and survive the steam.

Living room

Shared with the television, so the same speakers do both jobs properly instead of neither well.

Bedrooms

Quiet, separate control, and nothing that wakes the rest of the house at six in the morning.

Bathroom

Moisture-rated and neatly fitted, on the same system as everywhere else.

Garden and terrace

Weatherproof speakers that disappear into the planting rather than shouting at the neighbours.

Home office

Music when you want it, and a call that does not echo when you do not.

Wi-Fi and networks

The end of the blackspot on the landing.

Most home Wi-Fi problems are not solved by another plug-in extender. They are solved by putting the right access points in the right places, wired back properly.

Coverage that actually reaches

We survey the house, including the thick walls and the bit over the garage everyone has given up on, then design coverage around it. Loft, garden office and shed included if you want them.

Separate networks

Your family on one, guests on another, and your work laptop kept apart from the smart plugs. Better security, and a visitor never needs your main password.

Backup when the line drops

If broadband fails and you work from home, a mobile backup takes over automatically so the call does not die mid-sentence.

Lighting

Lighting designed room by room, not switch by switch.

Good lighting is the single biggest change you can make to how a house feels, and it is the one most often left to whoever wired the sockets.

Scenes, not switches

Morning, cooking, dinner, film, bedtime. One press sets the whole room instead of you working along a bank of five switches guessing which is which.

Warm, dimmable, efficient

LED that dims properly and warms as it dims, the way a real bulb does. Lower bills without the flat, cold light people associate with early LED.

Blinds and curtains too

Motorised where it makes sense, tied into the same scenes, and quiet enough that you notice the light changing rather than the motor.

Security and access

Answer the door from anywhere, and know the house is fine.

Cameras and alarms chosen to suit the building, positioned where they are actually useful, and set up so you are not woken by a notification every time a cat crosses the drive.

Cameras worth having

Enough detail to recognise a face at the gate rather than a smudge. Recorded locally so the footage is yours, with sensible alerts rather than constant ones.

Door entry

See and speak to whoever is at the door from the kitchen or from two hundred miles away, and let a trusted visitor in without leaving a key under a pot.

Alarms and sensors

Professionally fitted, monitored if you want it, and integrated so the lights come on when the alarm goes off rather than sitting in their own silo.

Working from home, or running the business from the spare room? We set up home offices that tie properly back into the company network.

How it works

What happens if you ring us.

We would rather talk you out of something you do not need than sell you all of it at once.

01

Visit

We come and look at the house, listen to what actually annoys you about it, and check what is already in the walls. It costs you nothing.

02

Design

A clear plan, a clear price, and an honest split of what is worth doing now and what can wait.

03

Install

Dust sheets down and boots off. We work around the family, and we clear up at the end of every day rather than the end of the job.

04

Handover

We show you and whoever else uses it how everything works, in plain English, and we answer the phone afterwards.

Let's talk

Start with one room if you like.

Plenty of our work starts with a single cinema room or one stubborn Wi-Fi blackspot. Book a visit and we will tell you honestly what is worth doing.
